As the official Xicano/a voice of Vassar, MEChA seeks to create a sense of community and security for Xicano/a students on campus. The organization strives to fairly represent and reclaim our ethnic identity while increasing campus-wide consciousness of the social and political issues that have kept our people oppressed. Members are committed to joining the movement towards self-determination.
